Youths in Malaita have been told to stay away from criminal activities and uphold respect.
Police made the reminder at the opening of a three-day Youth Market in provincial capital Auki, which opened last Friday.
Youths were instead encouraged to be involved in meaningful activities like the Youth Market, which was more beneficial than wasting their time in activities that only ruin their lives.
The event was held at the grounds of the police in Auki.
The Youth Market was the first of its kind to be held in Auki.
It featured modern, traditional, and religious entertainment.
Auki police used the event to raise awareness on law and order.
