TODAY marks the start of the three key events of the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant (MPIP) 2025 in Honiara.
Today Thursday 6 February is the Speech Day Programme to be held at the Heritage Park Hotel, starting at 10am.
Tomorrow Friday 7 February is the Float Parade, which will commence at the National Stadium in East Honiara and proceed to the SMI Compound through the Sun Valley route.
Saturday 8 February is the Crowning Night event to be staged at the Friendship Hall in East Honiara.
Today’s Speech Day programme will see the eight MPIP 2025 contestants present their speeches based on the topics they picked on Sunday.
- Miss Solomon Islands Elsie Polosovai, Contestant #1, will speak on Education
- Miss Samoa Litara Ieremia-Allan, Contestant #2, will speak on Culture
- Miss Tonga Racheal Guttenbeil, Contestant #3, will speak on Tourism
- Miss American Samoa Pauliana Felise-Vitale, Contestant #4, will speak on International Relations
- Miss Kiribati Kimber Tokanang, Contestant #5, will speak on Social Economic Issues
- Miss Papua New Guinea May Hasola, Contestant #6, will speak on Health
- Miss Nauru Charlei Deiye, Contestant #7, will speak on Sport
- Miss Cook Islands Ngatepaeru Maoate, Contestant #8, will speak on Environment
The outcomes of the online voting, speech, float parade and other categories of the MPIP 2025 to be staged during the crowning night event will add up to each contestant’s performance score for the crown.
