WESTERN Kikio has received the fair team award at the end of the Mariner National Beach Soccer championship, Saturday.
The team came third after beating Makira Sharks in the 3rd/4th play off.
Kikio beat the determined Makira Sharks by 8:4.
Kikio goalkeeper also received a hand glove award.
Beach soccer defending champion, Malaita Kwikwi reclaimed the victory, narrowly beaten the favourite Honiara Titan in the grand final, 5-2.
Western Kikio anticipates to come back stronger in the next beach soccer championship.
