Director of the Kilu’ufi Hospital in Auki, Malaita province Dr. Henry Kako has thanked the visiting Maranatha Children____s Ministry for visiting Kilu’ufi hospital.
In a statement on Wednesday Dr. Kako thanked the kids for their visit to the sick patients at the wards.
He said the visit was welcomed by Kilu’ufi hospital and its staff.
“Such visit and sharing really helps the mental strength of the sick patients.
“We always appreciate such visit and we thanked the Maranatha Children____s Ministry from Honiara for taking their time to visit the sick patients here at Kilu____ufi Hospital”, he said.
He said the gifts donated to the sick patients may be small but to the sick patients it is a very big thing.
“The hospital always open up for community groups and church groups who wish to visit and helps the hospital and the sick patients.”
He said yesterday’s visit was very special because the group was dominated by children.
“It is very powerful to see children reaching out to sick children with gifts and sharing the word of God through bible scriptures and singing ministry which are very powerful tools to heal the sick.”
