The newsletter is an initiative by the new school administration to improve the academic level of students in the area of reading and writing.
A newsletter committee led by Chairman, Alick Buga, has been formed to assist the school’s English Department produce the newsletter weekly with stories and pictures produced by students.
Mr Buga said the aim of the newsletter project is to encourage students to write and read.
“The aim of initiating the school newsletter is to inspire students to have an interest in reading and writing.”
Mr Buga said the school found that a majority of its students have been negatively influenced and this has disturbed their interest in writing and reading.
“We have learnt that most students have less interest in reading which affects their learning ability. This newsletter will be produced by students with stories and photos,” he added.
