FOUNDER of the Royals Football Academy Moffat Konofilia says the threat by the Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) is a sign of defeat.
In a statement, Konofilia however stressed that despite threats from SIFF, Royals will not be moved but will continue to strive for the betterment of football in the country.
“The majority of the Solomon U12 futsal players are Royals players and we continue to produce national youth players for our national youth teams.
“Therefore, SIFF can try and threaten us but we shall not be moved because the future of Solomon football is Royals.
“Threats is all SIFF can give, they’ll never give you a future because they don’t really care about you,” Konofilia stated.
He added more threats will only make Royals stronger to push for their VISION 2050.
“The weak shall never walk our path but in the end our names will be recorded in history as the people that changed Solo football to become world champions,” he added.
Konofilia recalled landing 30 footballers in Europe without the support of SIFF.
He said very soon they will send three boys for trials in Asia.
“When these three boys make the break through, they’ll be sitting on $30,000 USD per month.
“I’m confident that these three boys will break the market for Solomon in Asia then thousands more of our sons will follow suit,” he said.
