KOSSA FC made a huge leap from the ninth position of the Telekom S-league (TSL) table to the sixth spot following their 6-2 win against Malaita Kingz FC at Lawson Tama, Wednesday.
It was an equally fought out match at first which saw both sides finishing the first half with a score 2-1.
Eddie Kausute’e broke the deadlock three minutes from kick off followed by James Naka’s goal in the 18th minute.
Kingz first goal came eight minutes before half time.
Later in the second half Kingz seem to have lost composure allowing KOSSA to mount pressure and as a result added another four goals to extend their lead.
Lore Fono’ota scored KOSSA’s four goals, while Kingz managed another goal by Lamana but was not enough to cope with the goal difference as KOSSA stepped up and maintained its tough defense.
Kingz remains at the bottom of the table and are yet to register a point.
