Kukum SDA Church congregation have lost another brother on Sunday morning.
He is brother George Maenu who was called to rest around 5am at his home in Honiara. A statement issued by the church said he was a great man of God and a powerful preacher serving God on the streets of Honiara.
Many others have also expressed their condolences to the family and relatives of late George yesterday morning.
Many have saluted him for being a hero for Jesus.
Joe Lovi a local living in Port Vila, Vanuatu said “We were being brothers ever since our school days. When God calls you to go to do theology I was so happy for that decision of yours. The blessing you have shared with us when we were together at Kukum church were all counted for our salvation. You have prepared many souls already for Christ through our Mercy Ministry program,” he said.
Another said sad to hear the sudden passing of one of our powerful preacher George Maenu’u. God knows best, prayers with all families and kukum church during this sad time.
Another friend said; “RIP brother George Maenu’u . You have served our God almighty well and proved through your actions that indeed, you’re a special human to have graced our beautiful nation.
Rest well brother George. Sincere condolence to families and relatives of our beloved brother.”
Arrangements for his funeral service and burial service is underway.
George served as the personal ministry leader for Kukum SDA Church until his passing away.
“RIP George Maenu till that golden morning when the dead in Christ will rise first,” the Church statement said.
