Solomon Islands national futsal team, Kurukuru is confident it can make a difference in the upcoming 2016 FIFA Futsal World.
Speaking to local media on their arrival from Australia on Wednesday, head coach, Juliano Schmeling said the team had stepped up preparations during their month long training camp in Australia.
He said with the stage reached in preparations, Kurukuru can make a difference at the world stage.
Kurukuru had suffered some heavy defeats on previous visits to the world stage but are aiming to make a big difference in the 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup.
The Kurukuru team returned home, Wednesday and will continue their training in the remaining months until their departure for Colombia, the host country of the 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup.
They will travel through Asia for proposed friendly matches before travelling to South America.
