THE final Solomon Islands travelling national Futsal squad for the Continental Futsal Challenge in Thailand has been announced by the Kurukuru Head Coach, Damon Shaw yesterday.
The Kurukuru team comprises of a 14-man squad selected from the recently held trials.
“Coach Shaw released a strong 14-man squad for the Continental Futsal Challenge 2023 in Thailand,” a statement from SIFF confirmed.
SIFF has confirmed that only two changes were made to the squad that went to the PacificAus International Futsal friendlies in Australia.
Experienced George Stevenson and Edward Junior Kasute’e made the final cut this time to Asia.
This is yet another great opportunity for the Kurukuru team to get more exposure and experience, especially for the young players.
This is part of the Kurukuru’s preparations for the OFC Nations Futsal Cup later this year.
