A CULTURAL day was hosted by Kwarea Community High School, in West Kwara’ae, Malaita Province.
The 2018 Kwarea CHS annual cultural day show was hosted with the theme “Culture Endangered”.
It was held successfully at the school compound, despite the pouring rain on Wednesday.
Speaking during the event, the Kwarea CHS principal Godfrey Angisia said this year’s cultural day marks the fourth consecutive year that the event was marked.
Mr Angisia told guests, parents, guardians, and public who witnessed the Kwarea annual cultural show, that the school curriculum has already given a green light for schools to adapt such activities in their schools.
However, he said most school in the country are yet to adapt to similar events, which is why he was very happy to see Kwarea CHS taking the lead.
The Kwarea CHS principal also thanked the invited guests, parents, guardians, and members of the public, for attending the school cultural show.
He also thanked the Madalua Community High School (CHS) for taking part in the cultural show, as guest performers.
Not only that, he also thanked the organizing committee, and all the students cultural groups for putting their hands together which see the school hosted yet another successful cultural show.
Mr Angisia said the Kwarea CHS is proud to once again host the school annual cultural show event this year.
Meanwhile, he said the school is looking forward to do the same next year 2019.
