Dear Editor – I believe it is already too late for the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Lands to proclaim his stand against corruption.
It is not wise to make such a move at the end of your term in office instead of taking those measures way back during your 4-year term in office.
Wise leaders must be proactive and not reactive to such issues. The Ministry of Lands received the lowest rating in the latest study report which did not speak well of the Ministry of Lands leadership.
Moreover, those last minute media reports of the so called achievements by Lands PS has already not gone down well with some landowners such as O’ori tribe of Bina as highlighted in various media outlet.
To make things even worse of, the Ministry of Lands has been listed as one of those most corrupted government Ministries.
