LAULANA Community High School (CHS) in Central Kwara’ae in Malaita Province has successfully ended its academic year, last Wednesday with a graduation ceremony.
Reporting from Laulana CHS graduation ceremony, Mattyga Maneka said the event was a colourful one.
The guest speaker at the event was the MPA for Ward 29 Felix Bosokuru.
Mr. Maneka said the school accommodated over 500 students of both primary and secondary.
Speaking during the graduation ceremony, Mr Bosokuru encourages students to approach their education seriously with commitment to be successful.
The Ward 29 MPA told the students they are future leaders in Ward 29 and Malaita.
He also urges them to always strive for the best.
“I was once a student like you too and am putting my education as my priority.”
“I want to share with you my fellow good students of Laulana, when I was in high school I set up my rules to help stare me up to what I want to be in the future.”
“Here I have a formula, which I always put as my reminder to gear me up towards my future success, and the formula is commitment plus dedication equals success.”
Mr. Maneka said the School chairman thanked students, parents, teaching staff for making the 2021 academic year a successful one.
