Laulana Early Childhood Education (ECE) has successfully ended its 2021 academic year with a prize and certificate presentation on Friday last week.
According to Maneka Mattyga who witnessed the closing ceremony, he said teachers urged parents to play their part in developing the students at home.
Mr Mattyga said parents were told that they are the first teachers back home and should not fail their part in the upbringing of the students.
Supervisor of Laulana ECE Naomi said the school has gone through some challenges since its establishment back in 2018.
However, she said with the support of parents, the school managed to complete this academic year successfully.
One of the obvious challenges faced by the school is lack of learning materials.
She also thanked parents who faithfully paid their students’ contribution which helped them to administer the school and bought some learning materials.
During the event, the students also receive certificates which will certify them to attend PPY next year.
