LAULANA Community High School (LCHS) near Auki in Malaita Province held their graduation over the on Friday at the school.
A total of 60 students have graduated and were awarded with certificates.
These included grade six (6) and form three (3).
Jackson Raphe from the teachers training department in Malaita was the guest of honor during event.
The graduation ceremony was attended by parents and communities in and around the area who came to witness another accomplishment the school and their children have achieved this year.
The school’s principal Charon Frank said that during the occasion there were band performances and entertainment by students and teachers.
Despite a short notice to host the event, the event was successfully staged, she said.
She acknowledged the students, staff and parents for being part of the program.
Most of the students will now prepare for their exams in few weeks time.
She appealed to the students to prepare for their exams and not to engage in unwanted activities that may hinder them from sitting their exams.
“This is not the end of an academic year so don’t get involved in any illegal activities that may stop you from sitting your exams,” she said.
