THE futsal wonder kid, Rapael Lea’i will soon join his colleague players for the Solomon Islands Ports Authority (SIPA) Futsal challenge currently underway in Honiara.
Solympics head coach Stanley Puairana confirmed this to Star Sports in an interview.
“Raphael is current on holiday thus he was unable to play with us in our matches.
“But he will join us later for this competition,” he said.
He said Raphael’s presence will boost their campaign in the SIPA challenge.
During the SIPA league Puairana and his boys finished the competition as runner up behind Marist FC who claimed the top spot.
Puiarana said their overall aim is to finish the competition one step forward.
“Our aim is to win this competition since we finished as runner up in the league competition.
“In fact it will be not easy as all teams are also vying for the top spot of the challenge.
“But we will take one game at a time in our campaign,” he said.
Meanwhile, Solympics won their second match yesterday by beating KOSSA 8-2.
The competition resumes today, Thursday 8th of November 2018.
