South Sea Evangelical Church (SSEC) youth leaders and pastors around the country are under-going a training on how to teach Bible clearly and faithfully.
The training was facilitated by youth coordinator of SSEC association in partnership with pastors from Anglican Church in Sydney, Australia.
More than 30 participants are taking part in this training.
Speaking to the Solomon Star in an interview Pastor Morgan Renew of Gladesville Anglican church in Sydney said the training is to equip youth leaders on how to teach Bible clearly and faithfully to the next generation.
“To read Bible and understand it before preaching the message.
Pr Renew said it is important for youth leaders to know more about Gods word in order to preach out publicly and to raise young people in this country to know God.
Meanwhile SSEC central youth ministry leader Jeremy Bosokuru added youth leaders need to know the content of Bible before interpreting it correctly.
Mr Bosokuru said this training will soon spread out to all denominations in Solomon Islands so that all people can know Gods word as it is the foundation of all lives.
He encourages all youth leaders from Honiara and in the provinces who attends this training to go back to their local churches and begin to preach the gospel of Christ to the young generations.
