A CEREMONIAL sitting to open the legal year 2016 will be held at the High Court on Monday morning.
The event will start after the inspection of the guard of honour by the Chief Justice Sir Albert Palmer in front of the High Court.
Speeches will then follow shortly inside court room one where the event will take place.
Soon after, all courts in the country will resume their business for the year.
The courts have gone on a court vacation last December.
The court’s registry office only opens its doors to the public two hours every day during the vacation.
Hearing of criminal and civil cases was also halted except for few cases that need to be dealt with or heard during the vacation.
