Dear Editor,
As we end 2022 and are about to begin a new year on Sunday I hope the next 12 moves will see greater moves to witness national unity across the country taking into consideration the unique aspects of the cultural heritage of the Solomon Islands, comprising of social norms and behavior, customs, habits and capabilities which should all influence how people live, work and interact with each other.
The culture of the SI comprises the very nature of the “fabric of society.”
We seem to have lost sight of shared behaviours and beliefs that characterize the people of the nation, except for our Christian beliefs which if directly observed can restore our common values, rules and morals.
