VAVALU Construction will today officially handover a newly renovated pre-historical library to the National Museum of Solomon Islands in Honiara.
In a statement yesterday Vavalu Construction said renovation work covered the installation of glass doors and an extension to the front of the building.
“…we spent extra money of the company to add value to the building,” the company said.
It said the renovation work should now give National Museum staff and visitors more space to move around when viewing the pre-historical items of Solomon Islands people in the library.
The company said it planned to complete the work before the reopening of our international border in July.
“Work was completed on time as Solomon Islands will reopen the border in July for tourists to enter the country and visit places such as the National Museum,” the company said.
Vavalu Construction is a local construction firm that adds value to buildings to help improve the standard of living for the people of Solomon Islands.
