B.H.P, a locally owned business shop in Auki has presented gifts to sick patents at Kilu’ufi Hospital and Inmates at Auki Correctional Service on New Year’s eve.
The gift is part of the business’s community obligation to give back to the community through sick patients and inmates.
The gifts contained food stuff, plates, cups, spoons, disposal papers and thermos for the children ward.
The other items that were delivered to the postnatal ward consisted of baby hood/cap, hand protectors, baby powders and shampoo.
B.H.P shop Manager Madlyn Aujare said the patients were very happy to receive the gifts from the .B.H.P visiting team at the New Year’s eve.
She said they also visited Auki Correctional Service and presented Christmas and New Year gifts to the inmates.
She said they spent the whole day visiting the sick and inmates.
Its understood B.H.P is a newly established shop operated in Auk just last year and have been voluntary supporting few local communities in Malaita province.
Ms Aujare confirmed that B.H.P has been making positive response to local church activities as part of giving back to community.
