Dear Editor – I have now received copy of last week’s issue Monday 28th September page 7 & 8 private view ‘Solomon’s fish stock mow’.
Thank you again, so much.
I am still however truly concerned about nothing or very little being will be done to address consequences for impacted SI people.
The Star has often published my view about fish depletion yet nothing has been done and now Western Province people are also impacted.
Could Solomon Star independently investigate and report the situation by asking health department officials if inadequate fish protein intake (of say less than 8 meals per month) could be linked to increase in non-communicable disease in Solomon Islands, or definitely not?
Does scientific evidence exist showing there is no link?
