Patients at Kilu’ufi Hospital, Malaita Province have received Christmas presents from the Deputy Prime Minister Manasseh Maelanga on Thursday.
Mr. Manasseh Maelanga had donated a total of 90 parcels of Christmas gifts as presents for sick patients.
Staff nurses, Julie Hatai and Glen Hornby took delivery of the presents.
Both staff members acknowledged MP Maelanga for what they described as a great support towards the sick patients.
Nurse Hatai said this is the first time ever patients at Kilu’ufi hospital have been presented with large amount of Christmas gifts.
Ms Hatai said those Christmas Presents were distributed to patients occupying each of the six wards at the hospital.
She said the staff of Kilu’ufi hospital sincerely thanked MP Maelanga for his great support to the sick patients.
