CONSTITUENTS of East Kwara’ae constituency say Manasseh Maelanga’s move to join the democratic Coalition for change Government (DCCG) is in their best interest.
In the Eastern Stars Face book page, constituents in Honiara and overseas expressed their gratitude to Maelanga for making the move to join the DCCG this week.
“Thank you Manasseh Maelanga for making that move,” Feto Fiumae from USP Suva Fiji said yesterday.
“Your move to join the group is in the best interest of us and our people at home,” he added.
“We support you with the brave move for the betterment of our constituency and the people of Solomon Islands.
“Moving out from DCC government at this point of time was not in the best interest of Solomon Islanders and more especially the constituents of East Malaita,” he said.
Mr Fiumae said that the move of those MPs from the DCC government to them was seen as too early and of self-interest.
“Let’s give DCC government time to implement their plans for the country during this term first.”
He added that as concern constituents from East Kwara’ae, they were happy with their MP for taking the timely move to team up with DCC government.
