Leader of the Independent Group Honourable Manasseh Maelanga says his Independent Group holds the same view with the opposition.
He responds to media call for their reactions towards the Democratic Coalition for Change (DCC) government’s decision over some national issues that sparked public outrage.
Speaking to this paper, Maelanga confirmed that their views are going hand in hand with the current stand of the Opposition, which they remain optimistic that DCC will continue with their good work to deliver its development plans, despite slight challenges encountered.
The Member of Parliament (MP) for East Kwara’ae stated that they are looking forward to see some progress in the work of the government, considering the limited time they have and the need for the government to execute its policies.
“But our mindset will generally the same with the Opposition group,” he concluded.
