GUADALCANAL Province has been our economic hub where most of the economic activities and business houses operate.
‘And for most of us, we are fortunate and privileged to call it (Guadalcanal) our home.”
Deputy Prime Minister Manasseh Maelanga delivered the remarks during the celebration of Guadalcanal second appointed day last Friday.
Mr Maelanga acknowledged the Guadalcanal provincial and tribal leaders for their continuous cooperation.
He said Guadalcanal also hosts some major companies that drive the country’s economy
“The government acknowledges the sacrifice offered by our resources owners and pledges to be with you in facing social and economical challenges posed by investments and developments in our province.”
He further added the government is equally desirous to see that resource owners get the maximum benefits from their resources.
