MAKIRA-ULAWA Premier Julian Maka’a says his government is working on aligning its policies with that of the national government.
He revealed this when he met Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare in Honiara, Monday.
Maka’a stated that whilst there maybe challenges faced by the provincial government, he believes the only way forward is to align his government’s policy with that of the national government.
Meanwhile, Deputy Premier George Takeli said the only way for the provincial government to achieve its development objectives is to work together with the national government.
In response, Sogavare commended the Makira Provincial Government for its pledge to work together with the national government.
Sogavare also reaffirmed his government’s commitment to work together with the Makira Provincial Executive for the delivery of much needed developments.
