MAKIRA ULAWA Province has registered an accumulative 713 cases and three (3) deaths to date.
The Makira Provincial Health Director, Dr John Harara confirmed this during the Ministry of Health weekly talkback show on Saturday over the national broadcaster.
Dr. Harara said since the province detected the first case in 2nd February, six weeks until now, the province had recorded 713 cases and 3 deaths.
“Last 24 hours 331 RAT test had been done and we recorded number of positive cases detected is 65. Number of deaths of the 24 hours stands at zero,” Dr. Harara said.
He also confirmed total number of 4051 RAT tests were conducted in the province.
Meanwhile, Dr. Harara said out of the total 713 positive cases, 347 were recovered and 466 are currently active.
