Ambulance drivers in Malaita Province have reached a milestone after they completed a defensive driving training.
The Malaita Provincial Health Director Dr.Henry Kako told participants that they have reached a milestone in trying to achieve safe driving which they covered under the defensive driving training.
Dr.Kako encouraged the ambulance drivers in Malaita Province to apply safety rules that they acquired during the training when transporting sick patients.
He said the training elevated the ambulance drivers to a much safer standard where he said he hopes to see ambulance drivers apply the defensive driving in the course of their duty.
With that, Dr.Kako thanked the Solomon Safe Driving Hub Academy for reaching out to ambulance drivers in Malaita Province.
