MALAITA’S ward 7 provincial member and lawyer Leslie Kwaiga has been appointed to spearhead the organisation of Malaita Conference.
Premier Peter Ramohia announced that last week.
He said the province plans to hold the conference for its leaders and people in May or June this year.
Mr Kwaiga was appointed to be in charge of logistics and other arrangements.
Mr Ramohia calls on Malaitans to prepare papers for presentation during the conference.
“Do not miss this opportunity to contribute to creating the reforms and transformations we want for our Malaita,” he said.
He said during the conference, they will elect committee members for the summit.
