TEACHERS in Malaita are calling on the Ministry of Education to release teachers’ posting lists for this year 2015.
A group of teachers told the Solomon Star office in Auki some schools will be opening school doors next week.
“As such, it would be good to know our postings so that we can prepare. Travelling to schools and settling down for classes will take time; therefore it would be really helpful if the lists are released earlier.”
They said delay in releasing the listings mean late arrivals for some teachers.
When contacted, Chief Educations Officer (CEO) Malaita Province said the list for Malaita postings will be released next week.
“All Principle Educations Officers (PEO) of each regions of the province have been sorting out the lists this week.”
