Malaita Province has thanked stakeholders for organizing the three-day Peace Building Innovation Forum for youths that ended at Auki last Thursday.
The province’s deputy secretary Robert Wales said he was glad to see youths come out and showcased their hidden talents can contribute to the economic development of this country.
He said it was a great experience to see young people presenting their wealth of innovation, which he said the national government needs to recognize and support.
“The wealth of knowledge acquired or gained during these three days is useful and will enable youth to maximize their personality to make things happen in life,” Wales said.
“I believe the three-day program gave you more tools to be creative and innovative in our own setting,” he told the youth.
“The forum had given us opportunity to gain new insights, innovation, and an eye opener to recognize our personal viability of ventures into productivity for ourselves, your province and the nation as a whole.
“What you have learnt here will rejuvenate you to become more industrious than before.”
Wales thanked UN Women and UNDP for hosting such a wonderful and auspicious youth innovation forum.
