Malaita Province Premier Peter Ramohia says his executive has a ‘secret agenda’ for discussion with the national government delegation that will be in Auki for the province’s 34th second appointed day anniversary.
Mr Ramohia told Solomon Star on the weekend that he has already requested the Provincial Secretary Jackson Gege to include the ‘secret agenda’ as one of the agendas for discussion in a scheduled meeting between the Malaita provincial executive and the national government delegation-led by Acting Prime Minister Manasseh Maelanga during the second appointed day celebration.
He said the presence of the government delegation in Auki this week provides a perfect opportunity for the Malaita provincial executive to meet and discuss the best way forward for his executive to work with the national government.
“This visit is a chance for the Malaita provincial executive to meet with the government representatives to discuss issues affecting Malaita province and how we can work with the national to address these issues.
“We are looking forward to make good use of this opportunity to discuss with the national government representatives,” Premier Ramohia said.
