THE Malaita Province Youth Council is planning to extend the beginners Canva training to high schools across the province.
President of the Malaita Province Youth Council, Philip Subu confirmed this after the successful completion of a first training held at the Malaita Youth Hub in Auki last week.
Canva is an online design platform that lets users create graphics, images and other media productions. Canva offers a variety of templates and tools for users of all skill levels.
Mr Subu expressed satisfaction with the high number of young people in Malaita who participated in the Canva session at the Youth Hub.
He said due to limited space, not all interested youth were able to attend.
Therefore, Subu said the Youth Council plans to organise another round of training for those who missed out last week.
“We focus on the youth, not working professionals,” he said.
Mr Subu said the Youth Council remains dedicated to expanding its training programmes to foster the growth of youth talents in the province.
