A MAN accused of assaulting his dad with a steel rod last October at Rifle Range, West Honiara, will plea to the allegation against him today.
Hence Gapu, 23, is facing two counts of domestic violence.
His matter was listed for plea before Principal Magistrate, Fatima Taeburi, this morning.
Gapu allegedly swore at his mother earlier when his dad was not at home.
He also allegedly damaged the door of their house.
When his dad returned home, someone informed him of what Gapu did while he was away.
His dad asked him about the incident but Gapu also allegedly swore at him and hit him with a steel rod.
