A MALE person has been reported missing in the early hours of Sunday at Tenaru area, East Guadalcanal.
His name is Nathaniel Tova, who lives at Tenaru area and was last seen wearing a T-Shirt.
These are the only information the police can give about the missing person as they are unable to give further descriptive details about Tova as of yet.
This missing person report was relayed to journalists at the Police Commissioner’s conference by the Supervising Commissioner of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF), Juanita Matanga.
“The Guadalcanal Police have received a missing person report,” Ms Matanga told journalists.
She said the male person went missing between 2am and 3am on 14th of January this year after watching movies with some of his friends at Tenaru area.
She said after watching movies with his friends, he was believed to have gone on his way back home and was not seen since.
Ms Matanga called on people around the Tenaru area to report to police if they have seen the missing male.
“This is so that police can confirm to his relatives that he was found.
“At this point in time, police and the missing person’s relatives are continuing on with their search for him.”
Ms Matanga called on anyone saw the missing person or know any information about him to call 36200 or the police toll free line on 999.
