Member of Parliament for East Are’Are and Minister for the Ministry of Lands, Housing & Survey (MLHS) Andrew Manepora’asays the 2015 Budget will address major development priorities in his constituency.
Speaking in Parliament this weekManepora’a said, this year’s budget will have a huge impact in the rural areas and East Are’Are constituency is one of the beneficiaries of this budget.
“Although there are no specific allocation for major projects in East Are’Are, my people are very happy with the DCC government because our constituency development centre, our mini-hospital, airstrip and our mini-fish cannery proposed for Masupa are featured in the DCC government policy document,” Manepora’a stated.
“My people are hopeful that we will achieve these projects over the years,” he added.
Manepora’a highlighted, this year they will do a lot of preparatory work to lay the foundation for next year’s budget.
“No matter no specific allocation for our projects this year my people are happy with that we are prepared to work with this government to achieve what it promised us in its policy document,” Manepora’a further stated.
