The Caretaker Premier of Central Island Province has thanked all the registered voters of Gela and Savo/Russell Constituencies for the successful polling day on Wednesday.
In an interview with the paper yesterday, Mr Manetiva who observed the election said people have behaved well.
“I have gathered reports from these two constituencies and their polling stations and it was peaceful and trouble-free,” he said.
“And I wish to register my thanks to all my good people in the province for respecting the Election Day,” Mr Manetiva said.
Meanwhile Mr Manetiva urged all supporters and candidates in the two constituencies to welcome any outcome of results.
“Not everyone will win this election therefore I urge all supporters and candidates to accept whatever results that may come out.”
