Marathon set to return

RESIDENTS in Honiara will have the opportunity to flex their muscles at the end of next month with the return of the 2022 Solomon Airlines 60^th anniversary peace Marathon.

The Solomon Airlines recently confirmed the Marathon race will be held on Saturday October 29^th.

 “We are pleased to announced the 2022 Solomon Airlines peace marathon will be on Saturday 29^th October, next month”, statement said.

Events confirmed are half marathon, ten kilometres, five kilometres, two kilometres and fun run. That’s according to the Solomon Airlines peace marathon.

The event is an annual event however was forced to be cancelled during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Last year’s event was a success as participants flooded the event site and this year’s is anticipated to be another well organized event.
