Maravari community, situated in the South Vella la Vella constituency, Western Province came out in numbers to cast their vote.
Reports said, a total of 1,154 registered voters are registered from that area, the highest in the South East Vella La Vella Island.
Reports said, as early as 6am voters have eagerly queued up, ready to exercise their democratic right to vote at the respective polling stations.
They know their vote is important to shape the future of their constituency.
Yesterday, the atmosphere was charged with anticipation and enthusiasm.
The electoral landscape is robust, with six candidates vying for the parliamentary seat representing the South Vella la Vella constituency.
Amongst the was the former MP Fredrick Koloqeto who faces off against challengers Lionel Alex, Dr. Kuboto Kaniki, Anthony Alex, and Jacob Kwan.
Maravari boasts two polling stations strategically positioned within the village to accommodate the high number of voters.
