POLICE Commissioner Frank Prendergast said the shooting incident at Mbike Island remains a top priority.
Mr Prendergast made no updates on the investigation but said an assigned taskforce is making progress.
The alleged shooting involving fire arms was carried out by unknown people against elected Members of Parliament who went on retreat prior to the Prime Minister’s Election Day.
The police chief said the incident is still under investigation and information remains classified.
“Because investigations are ongoing, I can’t comment further.
“But what I would say is the taskforce has been working very hard and is making progress.”
