THE Ministry of Health and Medical Services (MHMS) has confirmed that measles cases are slowly decreasing after the vaccination campaign was boosted in recent weeks.
Doctors from the ministry of health said severe cases are still at the hospital for treatment, but the numbers seeking medical attention are going down.
However, they warned people to continue to adhere to health warnings and people to get measles vaccination.
They said the response to calls for vaccination in the recent past was encouraging which resulted in the slow decrease in the number of cases.
There were no further deaths reported after two cases of measles related deaths during the height of the outbreak.
Health authorities encourage people to continue to seek medical help and get vaccinated.
