The ministry of education soccer team is likely to face forfeiture after reports of fielding a player from another ministry.
This follows their win against the Prime Ministers Office (PMO) soccer team on Wednesday which they won 3-0 in penalty shootout.
It was an equally fought match with both sides having their chances at goal but both could not find the proper finishing leaving the scores at nil all until the 90 minutes was up.
The PMO team could not be more proud despite the defeat at the first place since they have played well against a side that comprises of most former national players.
However they had their hopes restored after they found out that the ministry of education was fielding a player from another ministry.
The matter has been forwarded to the organizing committee and any outcome of forfeiture should be heard today.
Meanwhile defending champions of the inter-ministry soccer competition, Police A has lost their chances of making it through to the finals after they were defeated 4-2 in a penalty by the ministry of education team B.
Just like the PMO and Ministry of education match, both teams ended the 90 minutes of play scoreless before heading into the penalty shootout.
