Match officials of the High school rugby 15s calls for the presence of a doctor during each games of the High school rugby 15s for safety reasons.
This follows a player of KGVI has received injury to his eye during a game against White River in the senior category yesterday.
The officials raised concern among themselves that doctor (Physio) is needed for every game and SIRUF should be responsible for any injuries.
White River a strong contender of the high school 15s defeated KGVI 12-0 after facing a tough challenge in the first half.
Both team equally contesting the match at first half but White River was fortunate to register five points from their only try.
They then extended their lead 12-0 with a try and conversion kick.
In the first match yesterday Koloale junior boy’s defeated White River junior boys 7-0.
Meanwhile in the opening of the High school rugby 15s last Saturday St Joseph Tenaru team proves vital as they overcame their determined rivals, Selwyn College with a close score, 7-5.
The competition continues this Saturday featuring KGVI and Bishop Epalle at 12 pm, Mbokona and Panatina at 2 pm and Selwyn College against Honiara High at 4pm.
