TWO men have been remanded in custody this week over two separate incidents in Guadalcanal province, during the Christmas festive season.
The first accused is Paulson Sali who faces one count of murder.
Prosecution alleged he murdered another man by squeezing his throat tightly, strangling him to death.
The incident happened on Christmas Day.
The second matter relates to an incident on Boxing Day, on December 26 at Foxwood area, Central Guadalcanal.
Prosecution alleged Jade Kekea set fire to the dwelling house belonging to a close relative.
He is facing one count of arson.
The two accused are remanded in custody on Wednesday and will face the court again on 12 January 2022.
