TWO men have been remanded in custody during the week for allegedly breaking into a home at night and stole properties.
Willie Kai and Rex Isika were remanded in custody until August 27, where they will return to the Honiara Magistrate Court for the mention of their case.
They were both charged with burglary in relation to an allegation on the midnight of August 18, this year at Adeliua settlement at Borderline, East Honiara.
Police alleged that just after the Complainant and his family went to bed, the two accused used some unknown instruments to open the door of the house.
The two accused allegedly went in and remove a deep freezer containing fish and Cray fish, a speaker, an amp and a mobile phone.
The total cost of the properties stolen is $3,000.
The complainant is the councillor for Panatina ward, East Honiara.
The two accused were caught at green valley trying to sell the mobile phone.
Police have so far only recovered the mobile and the speaker.
