MINISTER for agriculture and livestock (MAL) has thanked donor partners in funding the Rural Development Program (RDP) component 2.
The official launching of this program was held on Friday in Honiara and was attended by farmers, stakeholders, non-government organisations (NGO) and private sector at.
Augustine Auga with the help from donors it has enabled the country to get the program go into its second stage.
And he thanked them for supporting the program.
“On behalf of Solomon Island Government (SIG), I would like to thank the development partners for their continuous support, namely the World Bank, DFAT Australia, and International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD).
“I believe this partnership will continue for the next five years to move the agriculture sector forward,” Mr Auga said.
