Dear Editor – I wish to register my appreciation and big thank you to the Permanent Secretary, the new Commissioner of Police and Officers of the Professional Standards and Internal Investigations Unit within the Ministry for the prompt commencement of investigations into the case of possible corruption earlier reported to the Permanent Secretary.
Although it is only the early beginnings of investigations into one case, I and no doubt the public are reassured that our Police institutions are places of integrity.
Let us ensure they stay that way.
