NAZAR Gold Company, a subsidiary of Nazar Investment companies, has been accused of dishonesty in its business dealings.
Polish national, Pawel Misiec, displayed to the Solomon Star, a written cheque leaf for the sum of $20,000-00 issued to him by Nazar Gold, which he claimed was dishonoured by Bank South Pacific because of insufficient funds in the bank account.
Mr Misiec said the dishonored cheque was clear evidence that Nazar Gold has been dishonest and warned members of the public against associating themselves with it.
Mr Misiec alleged Nazar Company used cunning tactics to fool people into lending them money only to become victims of their dishonesty.
He said he received a BSP cheque worth $20,000 from the Director of Nazar Sukru Cebi, which was dishonoured by the bank because it did not have sufficient funds in the account.
Mr Misiec claimed he had lend $550,000 to Cebi and Edyta Zborowska, both of whom are directors of Nazar based on the undertaking that the company would use the money as a guarantee to secure a loan from the ANZ bank in Honiara.
He further claimed the duo failed to repay him the remaining large portion of the money they borrowed from him.
He said Government should by now realised what it amounts to when promises by the company rebuilding Kilu’ufi hospital, Malaita Province, for millions of dollars have not materialised yet to date.
Mr Missiec said Nazar must stop defending its lies by tarnishing his reputation through propaganda over the media.
Attempts to get a response from one of Nazar director, Edyta Zobrowska, were unsuccessful.
