The two men went missing after they failed to return home from a fishing trip a week ago.
Police called off a search for the due after failing to find them.
Kopo said families of the two fishermen have been Informed about their safe return.
He added police learnt that the duo started drifting after running out of fuel to continue their journey home from their fishing trip.
He said police are making arrangements to get them back home to their families hopefully by this week.
In the meantime, Kopo had issued stern precautionary safety warning to every fisherman that for the good of their own safety they must always make sure to carry enough fuel to avoid encountering similar problems at sea.
